The Covid-19 Tales: Visiting The State Of Jefferson

A few photos from our photo adventure to the "State of Jefferson" (Shasta, Lassen County) near the California/Oregon border.

The "State of Jefferson" was the name coined by a group of land owners near the California/Oregon border who wanted to succeed from the State of California.

Unlike the more restrictive San Francisco Bay Area, counties in Northern California placed an emphasis on social distancing with many businesses not requiring face coverings for entry.

Strange living in the most restrictive Covid-19 counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco) and traveling to an area where the government basically trust its populace to take measures to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19 virus, instead of shutting down everything due to the actions of a few individuals.

Adding to the fun was an abnormal spring storm adding to the fun while driving in the mountains.
